Page Hall Festival 2021

The Page Hall community were encouraged to send videos, photos, artwork, and even TikToks to inspire audiences with the collective talents of their friends and neighbours, and show the rest of Sheffield what makes Page Hall special.

The project

Page Hall Festival is a two-day online celebration of Page Hall, its people and their stories and experiences. The Page Hall community were encouraged to send videos, photos, artwork, and even TikToks to inspire audiences with the collective talents of their friends and neighbours, and show the rest of Sheffield what makes Page Hall special.

The brief

This digital festival sharing the culture in Page Hall, Sheffield, was created through a series of live and pre-recorded music, craft, and cooking workshops. With a focus on connecting audiences less likely to frequently engage with Sheffield's arts and culture, the festival team prioritised ease of access and family-friendly user interfaces.

The solution

Working with community groups to collect content, we then scheduled broadcasts across the weekend, monitored social media platforms, and managed a collection of remote live-streamed events. We worked alongside the marketing team to build the festival brand into the events, making them recognisable and creating a brand for future festivals.
