The project
RivelinCo invited audiences to journey through time in their brand new exciting outdoor promenade performance by RivelinCo, Park Life. Guided by an illustrated map, participants hunted secret treasure uncovered the untold stories of Hillsborough's park and community, and helped to complete the 'Hillsborough Parkive' with memories, imaginings and hopes for the future.
The brief
The RivelinCo team sought an outdoor, promenade performance retelling the stories prompted, memorialised and inspired by Hillsborough Park. The vision was for a fun and accessible performance suitable for every age group to help audiences think differently about the place they live, work and go to school in.
The solution
Working closely with the cast and production team, we planned the logistics of the promenade performance and created risk assessments to keep audiences and cast were safe, and ensure that props and costume were located correctly in the promenade area. We developed wet weather contingencies and access to plans, alongside a comprehensive COVID-plan to protect team and participants, with contingencies to cover COVID-related cast and production changes.
